Robin J. Larson, MD, MPH

Assistant Professor of Medicine and Community and Family Medicine, Dartmouth Medical School

Research Interests:
Dr. Larson is a general internist whose research focuses on health messages. Her work has included evaluating the advertising practices of top academic medical centers and exploring how celebrity endorsements impact the public's decisions about undergoing cancer screening tests. Currently she is working to translate the concerns identified in her medical center advertising research into policy changes at the national level. In addition, she is involved in developing a hospitalist service at the White River Junction VAMC and using a national database to explore how the health habits of men who use VA service differ from men who seek care in other settings.
